SPIN = SPecial INterest
SPIN classes are assigned based on your interest and your Japanese level.
SPIN classes change every 6 weeks.
The offered classes are separated into 4 categories:
Language Focus
Example:
Japanese Alphabet:
ひらがな／カタカナのことばを読んだり、
なまえ・くに・すきなものなどを書くことができます。
To be able to read hiragana/katakana words and write name, country, favorite things, etc.
Vocabulary:場面や場所に関することばや使い方がわかります。
In this class you will learn lots of useful words and practice how to use them using a variety of different topics.
ex) 自然nature、まんがmanga、歴史history、レシピrecipe
Kanji:日常生活に必要な漢字を読む・かくことができます。
Classes are taught using source material that is scaled to the JLPT N5 to N3.
Reading in Everyday Life:日本で見るサインや説明ができます。
Understand the contents of notices seen in Japan and be able to take appropriate action.
ex) 薬medicine、食品表示food labelling、旅行パンフレットguide book
Daily Communication:日常生活に必要な会話が できます。
For Intensive Course Students. This SPIN focuses on developing students' speaking and communication abilities through weekly theme unit.
Ex.) 学校in school, カジュアルcasual conversation, 敬語(polite way)

JLPT Grammar: JLPT examの文法問題,受験準備
To be able to understand the characteristics of JLPT grammar questions, prepare for the exam and understand more grammar.
A1 Grammar: Starter(まるごとピンク)の文法がもっとよくわかります
Study grammar at the starter and elementary level (A1)
JLPT Reading: JLPTの読解問題,受験準備
For Intensive Course Students. be able to understand the characteristics of JLPT reading comprehension questions and prepare for the exam.
Culture & Arts
Example:
Listening & Anime:
J-popやアニメをつかって、場面に合った自然な日本語がわかります。
Learn new words through J-pop and anime, and to be able to listen to natural Japanese that fits the scene.
Basic /creative Writing:いいたいことを 文にします。
to be able to write what you want to express through the task. ex) Make a Diary, book, Manga
Experience:教室の外で、より自然な にほんごが話せるようになります。
to be able to cultivate your self-directed Japanese language skills through interviewees and experiences.
